💡It is not possible to connect a personal version of a Microsoft Teams account with amber.

Reach amber via our Teams App. From here, you can search amber directly. Unlike our Teams integration, this article is about starting a search from Teams. This way you don't have to leave Teams to access your internal information.

How can I integrate amber as a Teams App?

This requires the support of your administrator. Your administrator needs to enable amber once as an app for your appstore (You can find the technical instructions for administrator here).

In this article you will find instructions for you as an end user on how to activate amber in Teams if the administrator has approved amberSearch as an app but has not yet added the app to your workspace.

There is also the possibility that the administrator pre-installs the amber app in Teams for you at administrator level. If this is the case, you no longer need to add amber to Teams yourself.

For end users: how do I install amber as an end user in my Teams?

Just follow the instructions below:

  1. Open Teams

  2. In Teams, click Apps on the left side.

  3. Search for amber (you will only find amber if your administrator has approved amber. Feel free to contact our support for assistance).

  4. Click on the app and then on "Add".

  5. amber opens, right click on the added icon on the left side and click on "Pin".

  6. Then log in to amber with your log-ins.
