What can amber do in other systems?

Actions are the difference between an answer and a completed job. More than 50 systems connect in a few clicks – after that, amber files, sends and enters things straight from the chat.

In 3 steps

Connect the app: under Settings → Connectors → Apps, connect once to the apps your administrator has released.
Enable it in the chat: in the options area under "Apps", activate the actions amber may use for this request.
Phrase the job: in one sentence that names the task and the destination → "Summarise the last board meeting and file the result in SharePoint under Board Meetings Q2."

Good to know

amber asks before it acts. The first time you use an action you choose between Always ask, Always allow and Always deny. For anything that writes, sends or files, Always ask is the right setting – at least to begin with.
Reading and writing are separate. Every action can be set to read-only. If you only want to evaluate something, you don't need write access.
They aren't called actions everywhere yet. Until August 2026 they ran under MCP – you'll still find that term in older articles. It means the same thing.
What you can't see, your administrator hasn't released yet. Actions are configured centrally; you then connect once with your own credentials.
