What can I do if something isn't working?

Most cases come down to one of three causes: you're in the wrong area, the file hasn't been indexed yet, or you don't have access to the source.

In 3 steps

  1. Check the area: Are you looking for a document? Then use search, not the chat. Search finds files, the chat writes answers → Chat or search – what do I ask where?

  2. Check the indexing: The index is updated once a night. What you uploaded, created or changed today usually only shows up in search the next day.

  3. Check your access: Can you open the document directly in the original data source? If not, you won't find it in amber either – that's not a bug, it's how permissions work.
